But families, especially little kids, aren't meant to stand still for an entire session. So we'll make room for movement, laughter, play, and all the little interactions that make your family who you are.
I'll guide you when it's time for those beautiful, intentional portraits, then let things unfold naturally in between. The result is a gallery that gives you both: photographs that feel refined enough to frame for generations, and photographs that bring you right back to how your family felt in that season of life.

Planning an Extended family Session?
Some of the photographs you'll treasure most are the ones with everyone in them.
Extended family sessions are designed to capture the whole group while still making time for the smaller connections within it. We'll photograph the entire family, individual households, grandparents and grandchildren, siblings, couples, and all the combinations that matter to you.
Each household pays the same rate, making it simple for everyone to contribute toward the session.
Extended family sessions are available for groups of three or more households and include the same relaxed direction and thoughtfully composed portraits, with plenty of room for natural interaction and movement along the way.

We'll talk through your family, location, and what you're hoping for so you don't have to figure everything out on your own.

Picture time
I'll guide you through family portraits, smaller groupings, and individual combinations while leaving plenty of room for natural moments.

Delivering photos
Your finished images will be delivered in a private online gallery, where you can download, share, and order prints.
FAQ
What if my kids don't cooperate?
That's okay. Really.
Kids don't have to behave perfectly for us to create beautiful photographs. I'll work with their personalities and energy rather than expecting them to sit still for an entire session. Some of the best images come from letting kids be kids.
How long is a family session?
Most family sessions take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on your family, the location, and how things flow. I don't want you watching the clock or feeling rushed, so I'll give us the time we need to create a complete gallery.
How do we choose a location?
You don't have to have a location picked out before you inquire. I'll help you choose a location based on the look you're drawn to, the time of year, lighting, accessibility, and what will work best for your family.
When will we receive our photos?
Most family galleries are delivered within 1–2 weeks after your session, depending on the season and current workload. I'll let you know as soon as your images are ready to view, download, and share.
